After finishing school in 2022, Elvina moved from Kilifi to Malindi to work as a house help. But her dream of becoming an events manager never faded. That spark stayed alive. 💫
And now? Thanks to support from the Youth Care Fund at Learn! Foundation, Elvina is finally receiving formal training in event décor—and she’s shining!
Her dedication hasn’t gone unnoticed. Her tutor regularly takes her along to real-life events—weddings, birthdays, even funerals—where she gains hands-on experience, earns income, and builds her professional network.
"I am grateful to have an opportunity to pursue the career of my dreams," Elvina says with pride.
